jojoba oil increasing acne on face?
I am using benzoyl peroxide for my severe acne.I was told to moisturise with jojoba oil after applying the treatment.Now my face is breaking out even worse.I have natural oily skin and it seems any kind of oil i put on my face(whether organic or refined)increases my acne.What i’m i doing wrong?All the oils are breaking me out;coconut oil,avocado oil, jojoba oil, shea butter, all the oil are causing my cystic acne to get worse.My face wash is also drying my face out.
First of all you are over drying and then over moisturizing, your face wash is over drying your skin, try something soap-free, alcohol-free. Then by using pure oils you are over moisturizing, try a moisturizer that is oil-free. You said yourself your face makes plenty of it’s own oils, you may want to wash and moisturize your face twice daily if your skin creates a bit too much oil. Or try not moisturizing at all, just cleansing, when you wake up and before bed.
